18 Cell Phones with the Highest Radiation...

CNET has just come out with their list of the 20 Cell Phones with the Highest Radiation... I took their list and I removed the duplicates (which were based on the carrier), and have a list of the Top 18 Cell Phones with the highest radiation.

First, some info on how it's measured..

Cell Phone Radiation Output is measured by SAR, or Specific Absorption Rate, and is defined by wikipedia (Specific Absorption Rate - Wikipedia) as:

Specific absorption rate (SAR) is a measure of the rate at which energy is absorbed by the body when exposed to a radio frequency (RF) electromagnetic field. It is defined as the power absorbed per mass of tissue and has units of watts per kilogram.
CNET provides the following information in regards to SAR:

According to the Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association, specific absorption rate, or SAR, is "a way of measuring the quantity of radio frequency (RF) energy that is absorbed by the body." For a phone to pass FCC certification and be sold in the United States, its maximum SAR level must be less than 1.6 watts per kilogram. In Europe, the level is capped at 2 watts per kilogram while Canada allows a maximum of 1.6 watts per kilogram.
With that said, here's the list as per the CNET story 20 highest radiation cell phones:

#1 Motorola V195 - SAR: 1.6
#2 Motorola Zine ZN5 - SAR: 1.59
#3 Motorola Rival - SAR: 1.59
#4 Kyocera Jax S1300 - SAR: 1.55
#5 Motorola VU204 - SAR: 1.54
#6 Blackberry Curve 8330 - SAR: 1.54
#7 Motorola Crush - SAR: 1.53
#8 Pantech Matrix - SAR: 1.52
