2011 Ontario Sunshine List in Excel! Courtesy of jackandcokewithalime...

The 2011 Ontario Sunshine List (the list of Ontario Public Sector Employees who made $100,000 or more in 2010) came out today and is available for everyone to review. If you're looking for the official Ontario Government website link for the list, visit: Public Sector Salary Disclosure 2011 (Disclosure for 2010).

I took the liberty of pulling the 2011 Sunshine List into a Microsoft Excel file so that you can go ahead and slice and dice the data to your heart's content.

Here's the link to download the Excel version of the list, courtesy of yours truly, jackandcokewithalime:

Enjoy!!

Another day another scandal:

Former Ontario bureaucrat scores $762,000 payout.

Opposition leaders are pressing the government for details of a $762,000 payout to a former provincial deputy minister of health that came to light in the Sunshine List.

“This government likes to talk a good game about trying to rein in public sector executive salaries but where I come from, talk is cheap,” NDP Leader Andrea Horwath said Tuesday. “In Hamilton, people want to know why Ron Sapsford was paid as much as he was and why his compensation was buried in the records of Hamilton Health Sciences.”

Sapsford’s compensation was tucked into the Hamilton hospital’s salary disclosures, rather than those of the Ministry of Health, even though he was working directly for the provincial government which paid the tab.
